Each year, Source Four hosts a design competition and fundraiser benefiting America’s Kids Belong (AKB) — a national nonprofit dedicated to ensuring every child in foster care has the support, stability, and sense of belonging they deserve. Through innovative storytelling, community engagement, and practical support, AKB works to:

• Recruit foster and adoptive families
• Support those already caring for children
• Mobilize communities to show up in meaningful ways

Because when communities show up, outcomes change. This year, we’re reimagining the competition. Introducing Hats Off: A Four the Love of Design Event. Instead of traditional submissions, we’ve engaged our local design community to create custom patches that will be featured in a live, in-person custom hat bar. Attendees can choose from three hat styles and customize theirs using a unique array of patch designs.
